This excellent, vintage artist-signed print was done by the well-known author/illustrator of over 50 books, Diana Thorne (1895 – 1963.) She was a dog owner and enthusiast who was able to capture the humor and energy that dogs often show when interacting with humans.
This portrait is of two young dogs, a Chow Chow and a Fox Terrier, who seem to be mesmerized by something, or someone just out of frame. It is titled “Attention”, and it comes from the book “Albert Payson Terhume’s True Dog Stories.”
It is in excellent condition, framed under glass, with a wonderful frame. It measures 10 1/4″ tall x 13″ long (including the frame.)
It would wonderful in a canine gallery, or alone in an office, a study, or in a family room.
