Circa 1920’s-30’s
This Vienna bronze, Bulldog stands on a large, heavyweight, green onyx dresser tray.

The Bulldog is exquisitely detailed with a red collar, an abundance of fur lines, and slightly bulging eyes. His eyes, along with his classic Bulldog “pout”, gives him an almost startled expression, as though he has just come upon something that we just cannot see.

He is in excellent condition and stands 3 1/2″ tall x 5″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. He is mounted with two original screws to the large, green onyx tray.

The onyx is truly beautiful, with a diameter of 8″, and with gorgeous veining running through it. It has two small chips that do not distract from the elegance and beauty of this piece. Whether you decide to put this piece to practical use on a dresser or a desk, to hold coins or jewelry, or use it simply as a stunning decorative piece in a more formal area of your home, it will soon become one of your favorites. If you are a Bulldog enthusiast, you will thoroughly enjoy all the character this dog has to offer.
