This vintage brass corkscrew is truly a unique find. It is a figure of a Setter or a Spaniel dog, standing on a platform, and holding a very large key. The top of the key pulls off and it is attached to a stainless steel corkscrew. The top of the key looks like it might be a bottle opener as well. The entire piece is 4 1/2″ tall x 7 3/4″ long x 5″ wide, and it is in great condition. The dog is beautifully detailed, including a pair of bright red glass eyes.
It would polish up well, but we kept it as we found it, for those who would prefer the more vintage patina. It would make a wonderful addition to your bar, or a uniquely special gift to a sporting dog enthusiast.
