This elegant, antique brass and crystal inkwell features a wonderful Pug dog. Dating back to the late nineteenth century, it consists of a tray, with a pen rest in front and a “fence” curving along the back. The cut crystal inkwell can be taken completely off of the base (as shown) for easier filling. The top is hinged and made of brass. The handsome Pug is just amazing with his highly detailed collar, and piercing glass eyes. The entire piece is in excellent condition, measuring 6 1/2″ long x 3 3/4″ wide.
If you are an inkwell collector, you will just love the charm and character of this Victorian one. If you are a Pug enthusiast, you will certainly want to add this incredible inkwell to your Pug collection.
