This wonderful, hand painted pottery, tobacco jar is a seated Pug dog. She has a beautiful copper luster collar with a bow, and the prim Victorian expression that you see on many porcelain and pottery dogs created during the 1800’s. She is 7 3/4″ tall x 8″ long x 5 1/2″ wide. She is in great condition, with a chip on her neck that does not show at all when she is displayed with her head placed on her body. If you are a Pug dog enthusiast, this antique dog can be put to good use to hold any number of things, as well as tobacco. It is also a fabulous, decorative piece, without it even being opened at all.
