This unique, figural creamer was fashioned in the form of a sporting dog, most likely a Vizsla, a breed well-known for its ability to track and point game. It was made and hand painted in Germany, and then distributed by the Mitchell, Woodbury Company headquartered in Boston, MA. which operated from the early 1900’s to 1940. This very realistic-looking dog head has a wide top opening, and it pours out of the dog’s open mouth. It is 4″ tall x 5 1/4″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, and it is in excellent condition with very slight paint wear along the inner edge of the top opening, and no chips, cracks or damage. This vintage creamer is an exceptionally unique an wonderful addition to a collection of creamers. It would also add a touch of whimsy to your kitchen, and to your table.
