This beautiful, reclining, Borzoi dog would make a wonderful addition to your collection of “Occupied Japan” figurines. In excellent condition, she is 3″ tall x 5 1/4″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. Done in a soft grey and white with an abundance of curling fur lines, she presents a truly elegant picture. Her delicately crossed front legs add to the effect. Unlike many of the dog figurines from the same country and era, which are more whimsical and often comedic-looking, this beauty is very realistic, and meant to capture the refined dignity of the breed. Those who love Borzois/Russian Wolfhounds will want to add this gem to their home decor.
