This matched pair of hand-carved wood Whippet dogs are just extraordinary! Made in the UK, where this fabulous breed originated, they stand a full 12″ tall x 5″ long x 2 1/4″ wide. They are carved from a heavy hardwood, and they have a gorgeous, natural color gradient that resembles the variations you would see in a dog’s coat. Sitting with one paw raised and noses pointed slightly upwards, they capture both the gentle temperament, and the racy, athletic build of these elegant dogs. They are in excellent condition. They have been together for many years, and they look so beautiful as a pair, we are selling them together.
