Extraordinary in every way, this gorgeous, Dachshund dog stands a full 9 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 3 1/2″ wide. Magnificent detailing, as you would see on all Rosenthal figurines, is especially evident on this amazing dog. From the whisker spots on his muzzle to each realistic toenail, the gentle folds in his ears and the bulges and rolls of his muscles, he is in excellent condition, and a true masterpiece! Created by the renowned German artist/sculptor, Professor Theodor Karner (1884-1966 Munich, Germany), it is impressed on the underside “Prof. Karner” together with the model # 1129. This wonderful figurine would make an extraordinary addition to any Rosenthal canine collection and the perfect gift and focal, decorative piece for any Dachshund owner’s home.
