We call this wonderfully whimsical weiner dog the “Original Pound Puppy”! Done in a high gloss finish, he is mostly vanilla in color, with accents of dark brown, black and carmel. And yes, he is covered in pound (#) signs! Not sure what the artist was thinking, but we love the finished result. Stamped “Made in Occupied Japan” on his underbelly, this collectible pup is in excellent condition and measures 3″ tall x 5″ long x 1 1/2″ wide. A great little piece of collectible history, a fun gift for a good friend, but you really might want to keep this dog for yourself…even if he is sticking his tongue out at you!
