When we say that these friends are “joined at the hip”, we really mean it! They are an absolutely adorable trio of hand painted pups, a Dachshund, a Rat or Jack Russell Terrier and a Pug. Made in the early 1900’s by the Heyd Company, in Germany, they sit 1″ tall x 2″ long x 1 1/4″ wide. They have a certain amount of paint loss, as can be seen in the photos, commensurate with their age. The tip of the Dachshund’s tail is missing, but due to its dark color, it is easy to overlook. These guys have been together for a very long time and they still look to be just the very best of friends. They would make a fabulous gift to a collector or to your best dog-loving friend. Or keep them yourself to place on your desk or nightstand as a reminder of the joy of true friendship!
