Truly a wonderful, vintage porcelain trinket dish, this gem was made by the Beswick porcelain factory between 1948 and 1954, before it was sold to Royal Doulton in 1969.
It depicts a pair of Pekingese dogs, one fawn in color and one red.
The high quality of a Beswick piece shows through with both the highly-detailed portrait of this perky pair of Pekingese dogs, and the fine metallic gold edging of this trinket dish.
Measuring 41/2″ tall x 41/2″ wide x 1″ deep, it is marked “Beswick England” with the number 1535 incised on the underside.
It is in excellent, ready-to-use or display condition.
This Beswick porcelain trinket dish would make just a perfect addition to your Pekingese collection, and a most thoughtful gift to any Pekingese enthusiast.
