This “The Poky Little Puppy’s First Christmas” book is a wonderfully-preserved copy of a Christmas classic.

For all fans of the Poky Little Puppy, this 1979 edition is large, measuring 12 1/2″ tall x 9 1/2″ wide.

While the first Poky Little Puppy book, by Adelaide Holl was published in 1942, as part of a series of Golden Books, this, much larger book was first published in the early 1970’s. It consists of 24 full-color pictures, and with the small exception of a bit of wear at the top and bottom binding corners, it is in excellent vintage condition.

While this whimsical story is perfect for young children between 3-6 years old, it is a classic that has become a favorite of children of all ages, including the “adult” ones!
