This charming painting captures three Jack Russell Terrier puppies, two are sound asleep, while the third is wide awake and intently inspecting a bug.
This sweet portrait is done with oil on board, and it is framed in a heavy dark wood, detailed in gold frame, under glass.
It was originally painted by the American artist, Elda Durham Cutler (1864-1944.)
The original work, painted in 1894, included a fourth dog, also a Jack Russell puppy, seated to the far right of the standing pup.
Measuring 11 1/2″ tall x 13 3/4″ long, it is in excellent, ready-to-hang condition.
If you are a Jack Russell Terrier lover, these engaging pups are just too adorable to pass up.
