Vintage Bulldog ID Tag

Circa 1928

This vintage ID tag is a very unique canine collectible.

Made of nickel silver, it was intended as an identification hooked to either a set of keys, or as a watch fob.

Usually, the wavy spaces on the front were engraved with a name and address.

The small loop-shaped piece at the end is engraved with the words “Please Return To.”

The fabulous Bulldog head is purely for decoration, and was not originally intended as a dog ID tag, although it could be used as that now.

Measuring 3/4″ tall x 1 1/2″ long it is in excellent condition, with some very minor wear.

This tag has not been engraved, either on the front or the back, so it is ready for you to use, or display as you would like.
