Vintage Sterling and Enamel Jack Russell Terrier Watch Fob/Pendant/Medal c.1957

This elegant, sterling silver watch fob/medal was awarded to a Jack Russell Terrier who participated in the “Lord Mayor’s K.O. Competition in 1957.

It features a very realistic portrait of the dog, hand-painted on a circular enamel disc, set into the center of the piece.
It is surrounded by a sterling rope, as well as a wreath of leaves. there is also a double loop at the top, which also allows you to use it as a gorgeous pendant.

The back is inscribed with the name and the date of the event.

The front of this piece is in excellent condition. The back shows a few knicks that you would expect from wear, and the age of the piece.
