Beswick Porcelain Brindle Bull Terrier Figurine

This wonderful Bull Terrier was modeled after a champion show dog.

This extraordinary breed has been nicknamed “the kid in a dog suit.” He is intelligent, highly active, and creative. His “larger-than-life personality” landed him the role of “Spuds Mackenzie” in Budweiser commercials and brought him to pop icon fame.

This particular figurine, was designed by Arthur Gredington. for Beswick Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. It was first issued in 1942, and continued to 1975. Measuring 51/2″ tall x 7 1/2″ long x 2″ wide, he is in excellent condition.

This handsome dog is not only a fabulous addition to any Bull Terrier, or Beswick collection, it also represents a wonderful story in the history of this delightful breed.
