Antique Sterling Silver Yorkshire Terrier Watch Fob
Circa 1913 – Edwardian
This wonderful, Edwardian, watch fob medal is solid sterling silver and 118 years old.
It features a raised image of a Yorkshire Terrier, and it is embossed “Yorkshire Terrier” just above the dog.
This gorgeous medal is suspended from a sterling silver bar pin with an ornate scroll. It can, however, also be worn as a pendant.
The back is not inscribed, and it is beautifully embossed with a very detailed laurel wreath.
It is hallmarked with an anchor and a lion passant, which dates it to c.1903. The maker’s mark “JAR” represents the JA Restall Company, located in Birmingham, England.
It is in outstanding condition, and it would make a fabulous addition to any Yorkshire Terrier lover’s collection, or antique watch fob collection.
