This is a wonderful, whimsical Marguerite Kirmse Etching (1885-1954), a well known and popular artist who was born in England, and then took up residence in Connecticut.
This original etching is of a Boston Terrier puppy who has had an uncomfortable meet up with a bumblebee. It was first published in 1931.
This Boston Terrier Art is penciled signed on the bottom right side of the etching, and it is titled “Stung!” on the lower left side of the etching.
It is matted and framed under glass in a simple black wooden frame.
It measures 13″ tall x 11″ wide, including the frame.
The entire piece is in excellent, ready-to-hang condition.
Anyone who loves the work of this celebrated artist will love this sweet addition to their collection. It would also make an extraordinary Boston Terrier Lovers Gift.
