This sterling silver, dish tray was masterfully designed by Sydney & Company of Sheffield, England in 1910. It features a portrait, in relief, of a Mastiff dog with a buckled collar.

It is 5 1/8″ in diameter, fully hallmarked and in excellent condition.  The detail of this regal dog is extraordinary. It shows every fold and wrinkle of his skin, as well as highlights his calm and dignified personality.
