Basset Hound Portrait

This wonderful, Basset Hound portrait captures both her easy-going, sweet nature, with a touch of her clownish personality. Measuring 22 3/4″ tall x 18 3/4″ wide (including the framTe), it is large enough to make a very striking focal point in any room. Done in charcoal on paper, it is entirely black, grey and white. However, the artist chose to make this dog’s eyes stand out in a wonderful, warm brown. This bit of coloration completely draws you to his dog, and those of us who know and love this amazing breed, know that the same happens with the soft, liquid, loving eyes of the real flesh and fur pup.
This portrait is in excellent condition, as well as the the dark wood frame. The portrait is double matted and framed under glass. It is signed by the artist.
